It’s an amazing start for ‘The Album’ by Blackpink. The four-member, South Korean girl group has a lot to celebrate about as their newly released album has been ranked at number two “on the UK’s Official Albums Chart”.

This achievement is incredibly significant as their new release has become “the highest charting album by a Korean female act in history”, according to Pop Base.

Blackpink have also been recognised for having the “best-selling cassette album” because of the ‘The Album’ in the United Kingdom.

Blackpink’s new album has been doing well in many other countries as well.
