The coronavirus pandemic has caused lots of economic havoc all around the world which has directly impacted people’s livelihoods. For instance, millions of people have lost their jobs, hardworking people are struggling to put food on their table and many others are having to adjust to lower incomes and higher prices of living.
During these dark and gloomy economic conditions, there are people showing their true sense of empathy and humanity by helping those who are worst affected by this ongoing pandemic.
This is highlighted by a group of Muslims in Hong Kong who distributed “food packets and hygiene items”.
Volunteers for Who Is Hussain? in Hong Kong distributed much needed items to about 100 families, according to details published on the Instagram page.
A total of of seven different types of items were distributed: ranging from rice to face masks (as mentioned in the above Instagram post).
There have also been many other examples where Muslims have been helping out those people worst affected by the pandemic.
