A group of Muslims from South London have come together to do something amazing for the staff at their local hospital. Anwar Rizwi and others volunteered to deliver a whopping and impressive 400 vegetarian meals to the staff working at Croydon University Hospital in London.
Anwar Rizvi, who was one of the volunteers of this project announced the news of this commendable act earlier on Facebook today. Since the announcement, a number of people have expressed their praise for this incredibly generous and selfless act.
This deed was done on behalf of ‘Who is Hussain?‘, wrote Mr Anwar Rizvi on Facebook. ‘Who is Hussain?‘ was founded in 2012 and is a worldwide organisation based in ’90 cities across the globe’, according to their official website.
In other words, this project was administered, sponsored and run by the ‘Who is Hussain?‘ organisation. They have been doing similar amazing and tremendous acts of heartwarming charity in other parts of the world as well.
There have also been many other examples where Muslims in the UK have done similar acts of generosity. For example, a Muslim woman last week delivered free pizza to the doctors and nurses working at the Royal Gwen Hospital in New Port, Wales.
