It premiered on YouTube on 1 October, it’s the song’s first week on YouTube’s global top songs chart and it has already occupied the number one spot.
The song has already had more than 161 million views so far and the viewership figures are increasing rapidly. To put this into perspective, the song ranked second on the charts has received half as many views as ‘Lovesick Girls’.
As awesome as it may sound, Blackpink also have two other songs ranked in the top ten of YouTube’s Global Top songs chart.
‘How You Like That’ has been on the charts for fifteen weeks and is ranked fifth with 53 million views between 2 October and 8 October.
Meanwhile, ‘Ice Cream’ has been on the charts for six weeks and is ranked eighth with 44.6 million views during the aforementioned timeframe.
