Justin Bieber has asked people to stay at home to counter and eliminate the global outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Many other celebrities from all over the world have also asked the public to follow government advice and therefore stay at home.

Within the last hour Justin Bieber posted a message on social media which read: “Stop the Spread. Stay at Home. Save Lives.”

Justin Bieber’s tweet is already being retweeting and liked by tens-of-thousands of people.

In response to the above message, Justine Bieber’s Twitter followers thanked him for using his platform to urge people to stay safe. For example, the Twitter account @Serayrauhl posted shortly afterwards to state that “Justin Bieber always uses his platform for important things… thank u”.

The singer’s plea follows a number of similar requests by doctors, nurses and other health professionals urging the public to stay at home to reduce the rate of infections and save lives.
