Imran Khan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, has wished Prince Charles and the UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson a “speedy recovery”. Both Prince Charles and the UK’s Prime Minister have tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago.
In response to the positive coronavirus test, Boris Johnson had decided to ‘self-isolate’ as per medical and scientific advice. However, Mr Johnson continues to fulfill his duties as the prime minister.
While wishing a “speedy recovery” to both high profile figures, Imran Khan also said that cooperation is desperately needed to defeat Covid-19. In the same tweet, Mr Imran Khan said that “We need an internationally coordinated response to counter it”.
Many people agreed that no country can deal with this infectious virus on their own – and, that countries from all over the world need to work together.
International cooperation is already being practiced by many countries, especially within the European Union.
