Boris Johnson resigned as the UK’s Prime Minister on Tuesday, 6 September 2022, after being compelled to do so by his own government ministers.
Leaving Downing Street has overwhelmingly benefited his financial situation as he has earned six times more money in the past three months than what a Prime Minister earns in a year.
The former Prime Minister has earned £1,030,782.21, according to the latest version of the Register of Members’ Financial Interests. This amount is made up for four individual payments, as illustrated in the social media post below.
This sum is, of course, in addition to the salary he receives as the Member of Parliament for Uxbridge.
Suffice to say that there is one less household suffering from the cost of living crisis.
