Switzerland is gearing up to host the Women’s UEFA Euro 2025 in less than eight months time.
Starting on the 2nd of July, the first match will see Iceland take on Finland at the Arena Thun.
All eyes in the country, however, will be on the second match of the day as the hosts Switzerland will battle it out against Norway in Basel, the country’s cultural capital.
The tournament will see a total of 16 countries competing for the UEFA Women’s EURO title.
Switzerland’s next group matches after playing against Norway in Basel will be against Iceland on the 6th of July in Bern, and against Finland on the 10th July in Geneva.
The Swiss women’s football team is currently ranked 23rd in the world, an improvement of two position compared to previous rankings.
