Since BTS released their new single “Black Swan” on Friday 17 January, they have received immense praise and mountains of admiration from both fans and non-fans for their new single.
According to early numbers, it is also reaching eye-watering viewership figures on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music as well as on other platforms. “@BTS_twt was the most streamed group on global Spotify on January 17th with 18.76 Million streams from 2.76 Million listeners”, according to Spotify Daily Data.
In less than 24 hours after they dropped their new single, famous people from various industries also joined in to praise BTS for “Black Swan”.
Luke Waltham, a prominent writer and activist described the South Korean group’s new single as a “spectacular masterpiece”.

The Late Late Show in the USA with James Corden announced that they will honour the song with a live performance by BTS themselves on January 28. In a tweet, their official Twitter account stated: “Thrilled to announce @BTS_twt returns to the #LateLateShow on January 28 to perform “Black Swan”!”.
“Still in awe of how amazing #BlackSwan is!”, tweeted Angie Grace, an actor, singer and writer. The tweet also stated: “This is more than anything we’ve heard before. Just brilliant.”
Many other people also commended BTS’s new single by stating that they have become new BTS fans simply because of how amazing and astounding Black Swan is.
