Face masks have been made compulsory in more than 120 countries in an attempt to effectively contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

The latest country to follow this much needed trend is England, where face masks must now be worn in shops from 24 July. Although face masks have been a prerequisite for travelers on public transport since last month, only a third of the British public has been wearing them in spite government guidance that they should be worn in public spaces.

One reason for this low percentage is the mixed messaging from those in government, where some ministers urge the public to wear masks whilst others take a more reluctant approach in giving explicit advice.

Therefore, here are three social media posts from Twitter that should definitely convince you to wear a “#FaceMask”.

These three social media posts do a better job of convincing the public about the positives of wearing face masks than the UK government has done in the past four months.
