Halsey has donated a whopping and impressive 100,000 masks to hospitals in California, USA. The singer announced this amazing news on both Instagram and Twitter.
The 100,000 masks will be distributed to four separate hospitals in California, according to details the singer posted on Instagram. The masks were purchased from a factory in China and are “FDA certified”, the singer added.
While announcing her act of tremendous generosity, Halsey also expressed her deep sense of admiration and gratitude to those working on the front line in the war against the coronavirus pandemic.
“Every single day I am in awe of the medical workers on the frontlines. Their determination, selflessness and empathy is the single greatest example of our capacity to love and survive as humans”, Halsey wrote on Instagram.
There have been many similar examples of heart-warming generosity by other celebrities as well. For example, Selena Gomez recently donated to a Los Angeles Hospital so they can buy ‘Masks and Ventilators‘.
Halsey’s fans, as well as other people on social media, have praised her for this amazing charitable act.
