Gina Miller – a highly successful campaigner, businesswoman and author – is going to unveil the first batch of candidates for her True & Fair Party.
Mrs Miller, in 2017 and 2019 respectively, defeated the governments of Theresa May and Boris Johnson in the Supreme Court over the issue of Parliamentary Sovereignty.
Today, her new political party, which launched in January, is going to announce the ‘first group of candidates’ to stand at the next General Election, according to a recent tweet.
‘The True and Fair Party aims to stand around 30 candidates in the election expected in 2024, most of them ordinary members of the public who want reform of Britain’s political system’, as per a report in The Independent newspaper.
The application process to attract candidates for the True & Fair Party was initiated with a high energy and motivational YouTube clip a couple of months ago. saying that “if you’re ready to demand better, to be the catalyst for change – apply to True & Fair for a United Kingdom that we can all be proud of’.
