First Lady of Pakistan, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, played a pivotal role in welcoming Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan to Pakistan, reinforcing the historic and deep-rooted ties between the two nations. Her warm reception and diplomatic engagement underscored the significance of this high-profile visit aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Expressing her honor and enthusiasm, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari took to social media to highlight the importance of the visit. She tweeted: “Honoured to welcome H.E President Erdoğan and H.E First Lady Emine Erdoğan to Pakistan! Strengthening the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Türkiye, and celebrating our shared vision for a brighter future.”

Her active presence at Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi was a defining moment as she welcomed the Turkish delegation alongside President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Media Cell of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) shared updates on her involvement in the reception, stating: “President @AAliZardari welcoming the Turkish President @RTErdogan, upon his arrival at Nur Khan Airbase Rawalpindi. Turkish First Lady, Mrs. Emine Erdogan, and First Lady of Pakistan, Bibi @AseefaBZ, are also present.”

The Media Cell of the Pakistan People’s Party further tweeted: “President @AAliZardari accompanied by Prime Minister @CMShehbaz welcoming the Turkish President @RTErdogan, at Nur Khan Airbase Rawalpindi.”
