The embassy of Türkiye in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, hosted a special commemoration ceremony on December 27 to honour Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding leader of Pakistan, on the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary. The event was a heartfelt tribute to Jinnah’s enduring legacy as a visionary leader and the driving force behind the creation of Pakistan.

In a tweet, the Embassy of Türkiye shared highlights of the event, emphasising the deep bond of friendship between Turkey and Pakistan. The Embassy’s official statement read: “On the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary, a commemoration ceremony was held at our Embassy today to honor Quaid-e-Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah, the founding leader of Pakistan.”

The ceremony featured speech by H.E. Ambassador İrfan Neziroğlu. Participants underscored the shared values and historical ties that have strengthened the relationship between Türkiye and Pakistan over the decades.

The event at the embassy also highlighted the enduring camaraderie between the two nations, which share a long history of mutual support and cultural affinity.
