Three dedicated and loyal BTS fans organised a successful and buzzing meet-up in Lahore at the Maisonette Hotels and Resorts. The purpose of the event, according to the organisers, was to make fellow BTS fans happy, who are also known as ARMY.
The event gained lots of praise from the attendees and also from those who could not make it to the event but saw pictures of it on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Many people were jubilant because they had the chance to meet up with people who share a similar interest and passion.
While similar events have been organised in the past, this was by far the most popular one with at least three dozen people attending. The attendees were greeted with nice food, K-POP decorations and most importantly a BTS themed cake, as visible in the above picture.
The three dedicated organisers – Tooba Zahra, Aleena Shahzad and Rameeza Ahmad – were incredibly pleased with the event itself. They told me that it went better than expected and they would like to organise similar events in the near future. For example, Remeeza Ahmad stated that “we hope to host more amazing events for the growing number of fans in the future”. In fact, their event has inspired BTS fans in other cities to also organise similar events.

Rameeza Ahmad further told me that “even though I got on board as an organiser just a mere handful of days before the event, I had full faith that it would be amazing. Seeing how many ARMYs poured out to watch BTS’ documentary across the city, I already knew we exist in great numbers in Lahore. But the event and the excitement around it, cemented my belief. So many ARMYs showed up and many more wanted to attend but couldn’t”.
Event though Tooba Zahra became an ARMY only a mere three months ago, she had a strong wish for fellow ARMYs to meet up. In a statement Tooba Zahra told me that she “felt like ARMYs of Pakistan deserve events and recognition like other ARMYs around the world. So I felt like this meetup was very necessary for us, and Alhumdulilah this event was our time and money. Me and my partners are going to arrange better events in the future. InshaAllah”.
Meanwhile, Aleena Shahzad was extremely delighted at how the event unfolded. She told me: We [the organisers] are really proud to say that as a first ever event of such sort, it was a success. We provided a chance to our fellow Kpop group BTS fans to meet eacthother in real life and get to know eachother. We BTS ARMYs are just like a family and I feel really to happy that I along with my two friends, organized this amazing event. We look forward to organizing more events like this in future. InshaAllah”.
In a country that is facing enormous economic and political challenges, Tooba Zahra, Aleena Shahzad and Rameeza Ahmed should be applauded, praised and celebrated for organising an incredibly positive and lovely event.
In fact, it would be brilliant if more and more ARMYs from other Pakistani cities also organise similar events in their home towns. Firstly, it would spread positivity amongst our youth because the seven member BTS group always spread joy and happiness amongst their fans. Secondly, it would create a sense of community among like-minded people, which is a vital and crucial thing to do because life is always better when you’ve got people around you who share a similar passion. After all, it is a sense of belonging that makes life worth living.
