Ali Rehman Malik Announces Establishment of Senator Rehman Malik Memorial Library in Islamabad, Pakistan

Ali Rehman Malik, Chairman of IRR International and the Rehman Malik Foundation, announced the establishment of the Senator Rehman Malik Memorial Library at the Al Fajar Institute of Modern Sciences (AIMS) in Islamabad to honor the legacy of his late father, Senator Rehman Malik.

The library, which will be located at AIMS, aims to serve as a support to the academic and research pursuits of students. The library is part of wider plans by IRR International and the Rehman Malik Foundation to organise seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events at AIMS.

Ali Rehman Malik, whilst announcing the establishment of the library, emphasised the importance of education in rebuilding lives and creating opportunities for the future. “The Institute of Research & Reforms (IRR) International and the Rehman Malik Foundation are committed to empowering deserving students with access to quality education and modern resources, Mr Malik said.

“The library we establish will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, enabling students to meet the challenges of the 21st-century world”, Mr Ali Rehman Malik added.

The announcement was made at the site where the Senator Rehman Malik Memorial Library will be located. Mr Riaz Ali Turi, Director of IRR International, accompanied Ali Rehman Malik and said to the The Nation newspaper: “This initiative is a testament to the unwavering commitment of IRR and the Rehman Malik Foundation to uplift communities affected by terrorism and deprivation”.

IRR International and the Rehman Malik Foundation, known for their philanthropic initiatives, are spearheading the project. Ali Rehman Malik stated that the foundation aims to ensure the library becomes a vibrant space for intellectual discourse.

The announcement was met with widespread appreciation, with many praising the initiative as a meaningful way to preserve Senator Rehman Malik’s legacy. Former colleagues and friends of the late senator lauded his contributions to the nation and expressed hope that the library would inspire future generations.
