Ali Rehman Malik and Umar Rehman Malik, sons of Pakistan’s longest serving (late) Interior Minister, have paid a heartfelt tribute to the (late) Benazir Bhutto on what would have been her 70th birthday today.
Prominent individuals from politics, journalism, the charitable sector and media have been expressing their thoughts about the two-time former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
In a social media post dedicated to the first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ali Rehman Malik said: “Remembering the great SMBB on what would have been her 70th birthday.
He further said: “I often wonder what, not just Pakistan, but the world would have been like today, had she not been taken from us so soon.
She made the ultimate sacrifice for her people and for the spirit of freedom and democracy.”
Meanwhile, Umar Rehman Malik expressed his thoughts on the former Prime Minister by saying that “Remembering Shaheed Mohtarma #BenazirBhutto on her 70th birthday.
He additionally stated that “She sacrificed her life for Pakistan and its people. She fearlessly and bravely challenged and undermined the forces of terrorism and advocated peace, democracy and tranquility.”
The father of Ali Rehman Malik and Umar Rehman Malik was one of the most loyal and hardworking friends of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
