Ali Rehman Malik, Chairman of IRR International and the Rehman Malik Foundation, and his brother Umar Rehman Malik, joined the Christian community in Islamabad to celebrate Christmas, reinforcing their commitment to minority rights and interfaith harmony in Pakistan.
The celebration, held at a local church, featured prayers for peace and unity, gift distributions, and heartfelt speeches that emphasised the importance of inclusivity and equality.
“Christmas is a celebration of love, compassion, and unity,” said Ali Rehman Malik. “It reminds us of the importance of standing together as one, embracing diversity, and ensuring that every citizen feels valued and included.” He added that his late father, Senator A. Rehman Malik, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, was a staunch advocate for equality and dignity for all citizens, and he remains dedicated to carrying forward that vision.
Ali Rehman Malik also announced new initiatives through IRR International and the Rehman Malik Foundation, focusing on improving education and healthcare access for minority communities. “Unity and inclusivity are the cornerstones of a strong, progressive Pakistan,” he emphasised.
Umar Rehman Malik, head of PPP Digital Islamabad, extended heartfelt Christmas greetings and reiterated the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to minority rights. Citing PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Umar said, “Chairman Bilawal often reminds us that Pakistan’s diversity is its greatest strength, and every citizen deserves equal rights.” He assured the Christian community of continued support and reaffirmed his father’s legacy of fostering interfaith harmony.
