One should always be extra thankful to the friends who do amazing things for you. Now, there are a number of acts that can be described as amazing, including: friends treating you to lunch or remembering your birthday (without Facebook’s and Twitter’s help).

However, the most amazing act is when a friend introduces you to something new, to something unique and astronomical. Of course, I am talking about the very special and close friend who introduced me to BTS during the summer of 2017. While I did post the below tweet on Twitter yesterday, I thought that this ‘thank you’ requires an article.

It is precisely because of that friend introducing me to BTS that I am able to write about BTS, that I am able to do BTS related giveaways and that I am surrounded by ARMYs, who are an incredibly positive, charitable and fun-loving fandom.

One might say that I would have discovered BTS myself because of their overwhelming and well-deserved popularity all across the globe. While that may be true, I wouldn’t have discovered them at the right time: I would probably not have experienced the release of ‘Love Yourself: Her’, ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ or ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ at the exact time of each album’s release.

Therefore, I am incredibly thankful to that friend for introducing me to BTS two-and-half years ago.

All the positive feedback and response I have received for my BTS articles so far is also reflective of her hard work of making me understand the uniqueness of BTS. Plus, many of the BTS related topics that I write about are inspired by her ReTweets on Twitter. She always ReTweets the sort of stuff that proves to be a great foundation for my articles.

Additionally, writing and reporting about BTS is a pleasure. It’s like a hobby. It isn’t a job. It’s like an exercise for me. Therefore, I owe her the biggest thank you ever for introducing BTS and their absolutely wonderful music to me.

But that friend will remain a mystery – as she does not use Twitter.
